UAC problem  at simple user account...
The inability to elevate programs from a standard user account when you disable UAC is by design behavior. Microsoft designed UAC in such a way that every elevation of privileges in Windows (for example, running an application as administrator) must go through the UAC infrastructure. It is documented in a KB article and there is no other workaround than to enable UAC again: You encounter unexpected behavior when you perform tasks as a standard user and the User Account Control feature is disabled in Windows Vista http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928497/en-us (Applies to Windows 7.) And it is not possible to save choices from UAC. UAC by default prompts the user in what is called a secure desktop, a kind of desktop that is inaccessible from third party code, so you can't know which option the user chose. My recommendation is that you contact the authors of those programs and ask them for a version that runs well under limited accounts (most applications don't require administrative privileges all the time, and if they do, there's a great possibility that they are poorly designed).Microsoft MVP Windows Expert Consumer | http://blogs.msmvps.com/dmartin/ | http://www.wintecnico.com

Hi, All! I have a legal Windows copy that pre-installed (OEM) on the computer. It is windows 7 64 bit, i did put sp1 and all latest updates , but it doesn't solve the problem. I will describe my situation: I have 2 user accounts. 1 - user with administrator rights and second one simple user- that is default account on my system. Now, I have a problem with UAC in my default account(simple user) . If I am disabling it completely-> Run as administrator command don't working at all ( In XP it was working without any problem) If UAC is working,I am unable to run programs under simple user- UAC demands from me every time a password for administrator account. I have tried to insert my programs into start-up , even in scheduler- nothing help. One more thing: I want a program that will save my choice from UAC in the encrypted database. And if my program wasn't changed- UAC will not appear. If my program was changed- a pop-up will show . Thanks.
